Unfortunately, our stay did not meet basic expectations.During the stay, there was no hot or warm water available at all, which made showering impossible. In addition, the heating in the room was very poor, and the bathroom/toilet was not heated, making it uncomfortable, especially in colder weather.We reported the issue multiple times during our stay, but the property did not respond or provide any solution. Booking.com also attempted to contact the property and confirmed they were unable to reach them.Additionally, we were not clearly informed in advance that breakfast is served in a different building, which required going outside fully dressed — particularly inconvenient given the lack of heating and hot water.Hot water and heating are essential amenities, and their absence significantly affected the stay.Because of this, I cannot recommend this property.

The receptionist, the room, the service, and the speed were all completely unprofessional.

Front desk, Mr. Ramin was exceptional. He was the first Joyway Hotel employee I met. He was friendly, shared information on area attractions, recommended hotel restaurant offering a discount. Joyway offered great breakfast. When I ask for a private taxi ride to the airport Mr. Ramin went out of his way to accommodate me with a safe ride. Other staff were also friendly and assisted with my bags and room cleaning services.

Not able to think about was could be better. It was a positive experience, and will return.

The rooms were very clean and good size, the staff was professional and friendly, great location 3 min away from the Old Town, beautiful surroundings.

Nothing really

We booked a room for 4 people with 2 single beds and 1 double. The room had only 1 single and 1 double bed. We did not have enough space to sleep. We asked for an additional bed or different room, but stuff ignored our requests. We had to get a room in another hotel. They have not refunded us yet. Horrible experience. I'm never coming back.

They have 3 buildings, we were placed in the 2nd one 50 m away from the main one and got a room with no natural light, kind of in the basement. A window was facing an area 1x1 meter with red lights and a roof above covering the whole space, hence no light.

I visited Joyday early in the morning around 9 AM, well before the check-in time, and the staff welcomed me with exceptional warmth. They even offered me breakfast and kindly arranged an early check-in without any hesitation. They also provided me with a charger when I needed one, which I really appreciated.The location is fantastic—close to everything in Sultanahmet and very convenient for exploring the area.I highly recommend this hotel for its hospitality, comfort, and great service.

The room and bedsheets were clean, and the location was convenient for exploring Sultanahmet.

The economy room was in the basement, which wasn’t advertised. The window faced a wall and partially under a restaurant patio table, providing no real light or privacy, and the room would fill with the smell of cigarettes. There was peeling paint on the ceiling and walls, and I saw a couple of cockroaches. The staff and reception were also not very helpful.

I was briefly disgusted.

It's a terrible hotel, with its service staff, I don't recommend anyone to stay here. The breakfast was terrible, we only arrived on the first day, dirty and tasteless breakfast. There was 1 piece of toilet paper for 4 people, they didn't even bring soap, we had 2 blankets.

Bathroom door need a little bit repair. Made noise or scratch sounds on the floor unless you lifted it.

Close to the palace and restaurants

1. Hot water finishes very quickly, especially in the morning, on 3 min to take shower2. No hand soap3. Breakfast: poor variety and not on the rooftop as shown on the photos. + it is in cold and dark sushi bar 3. Restaurant on the roof: expensive and smells strange

I am sorry to say that there was nothing I liked with this hotel. Perhaps the location was the only thing. The breakfast is the poorest I have ever seen in a hotel anywhere in the world. Please see the pictures I took as a proof. I wonder how legit the reviews are. Staff laughing at you in your back. Very rude and unfriendly.

First night I was given room without a window, I had booked for a week, and I could absaloutely not stay in a room without a window for a week. I asked them if we could get another room, we could switch on two rooms and take one decent room instead as they appeared to be overbooked. We were given a room in a 3 star hotel next door, which was very unclean and no power of water in the shower. We stayed there for few days, and asked to change again. Next we were given rooms in the basement next to staff and depot room. Appears the staff is staying there between shifts, and late at night they were speaking very loutly. Rooms were poorly sound isolated, we were calling between rooms wehen communicating. Breakfast fruit selection was apple, or apple and plum. The bread was tiny, during our stay they ran out of bread, milk, butter, honey. The cups and plates were greasy and unclean.

Someone overbooked the hotel - they paid for a taxi for me to go to another one that was 15m by car - a better one, which I liked very much. Since I travelled for business, it did not make a difference, however, I can see that would be upsetting for someone there on vacation - the areas are very different.

1. booking.com says the breakfast is from 6:30 but they are actually opened at 8, which we were never able to make it. we couldnt enjoy their breakfast even though we paid for it.2. Some random guy just bursted in our room at night when we were sleeping and he just said sorry and left. I freaked out and requested a room change but front desk said it was probably one of their staff with a masterkey, didnt even bother to check the surveilance cam or cctv and nothing was solved. I had to be scared the whole night in case it happened again and had to block our door with our luggages. I have never experienced such crazy incident in my whole life, especially at a hotel? This place isnt some random cheap inn!!!3. there was power cut 2 times

nothing .. they didnt give the room i reserve , all are lier . the pictures not match the actual rooms , very small very bad and smelly , breakfast disaster , wifi very poor , not worth 1 dollar

everything ,starting from reception lying and giving downgrade rooms which is not worth 1 star hotel and i paid for 4_5 stars room
